Mikko Koski

Managing Director, Founder

What my title doesn’t say about my work

Handling many invisible "janitor duties" in the company falls on my plate — not everything has to be shiny and fancy. For example running and managing certain "spreadsheets" and governance & internal stuff can also be fun and quite educational.

In reality, "Think beyond AI" means…

Being curious about the challenges and opportunities organisations face once AI becomes "table stakes".

What kind of problems are you particularly good at solving?

People problems and challenges related to building growth. The two are fundamentally connected and, in my opinion, need increasing focus.

What sets you apart from other AI consultants?

Even as an AI consultant, I find myself overwhelmed by the constant noise around AI. That’s why I try — as much as possible — to avoid talking about AI altogether.

An experience from my career that shook my thinking

Early in my career I worked closely with a client’s managing director, providing advisory services aimed at analysing and optimising their portfolio-wide growth investments. Although I was a fairly junior analyst at the time, I found myself semi-regularly present in their management team meetings — presenting the work, findings, and outcomes after putting insights into action. I learned that being confident and proud of the work you do carries you far.
